Vol. 537 No. 5

Written Answers. - Housing Aid for the Elderly.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

349 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals he has to have work under the special housing aid for the elderly scheme commenced for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16946/01]

As the Deputy is aware, the housing aid scheme for the elderly is operated in County Waterford by the South Eastern Health Board on behalf of the Department of the Environment and Local Government.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
