Question:459 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if funding for a Gaeltacht road (details supplied) in County Mayo will be sanctioned in 2001; and the road repaired. [17059/01]
Written Answers. - Roads Funding.
I refer the Deputy to my reply of 22 March 2001 to Parliamentary Question No. 124. My Department has very recently received an estimate of the cost of improving the road, referred to by the Deputy, from Mayo County Council. The road will be taken into account in the context of other applications received and the moneys available to me, when applications under scéim na mbóithre áise are next being considered.
