Initial discussions between An Post and a number of possible potential strategic partners are progressing. However, these discussions are at an early stage. No indepth negotiations involving my Department and the Department of Finance as representatives of the shareholders have taken place and, therefore, it would be premature and possibly prejudicial for me to comment on the matter further at this stage.
