Before proceeding with the Order of Business, I have the honour to extend a warm welcome to the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mr. Petr Pithart, accompanied by members of the Senate, who join us in the Distinguished Visitors' Gallery this morning.
Mr. President, your visit demonstrates the continuing co-operation and friendship between our two Parliaments and countries. I express the confident hope that this visit will increase that co-operation and friendship and that it will be to our mutual benefit.
