I propose to take Questions Nos. 117 to 119, inclusive, together.

Regarding Aer Lingus, I refer the Deputy to my reply to question No. 114 for answer today. I refer the Deputy to my replies to similar questions, No. 137 of 8 May, 2001 and Nos. 21, 73 and 80 of 10 May 2001. The only change since then, which relates to INPC, is as follows.

On 26 May 2001, legal documentation was signed which commits INPC and the Tosco Cor poration to completion of the proposed acquisition of the refinery and the Whiddy oil terminal by 16 July 2001 subject to certain significant conditions. These include the enactment of legislation necessary to empower me to exercise certain functions which are an essential part of the overall transaction. That legislation – the Irish National Petroleum Corporation Limited Bill, 2001 – passed all stages in the Dáil on 21 June 2001 and Second Stage is scheduled to commence in the Seanad on Thursday, 28 June 2001.
