237 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a reply to representations made by Deputy Currie (details supplied) on 14 December 2000 concerning dental treatment has not been given; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18632/01]
The provision of orthodontic services for eligible persons in Lucan is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority. I have asked the authority's chief executive officer to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
