Vol. 539 No. 1

Written Answers. - General Medical Services Scheme.

Dan Neville

Question:

250 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if the Mid-Western Health Board will outline the reason for continuing to send payment demands for a person (details supplied) who died 12 years ago in view of the fact that all payments were made at that time. [18744/01]

The issue raised by the Deputy is the statutory responsibility of the Mid-Western Health Board. Accordingly I have asked the chief executive officer of that board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
