411 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the difficulties encountered by a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in relation to his employment with Sligo VEC; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18647/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the appointment by County Sligo VEC of the person in question as an eligible part-time teacher has now been sanctioned by my Department.
