Vol. 539 No. 1

Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

455 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will prioritise funding for the provision of an extra classroom and facilities at Ballyferriter national school, County Kerry, due to an urgent need; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18932/01]

My Department has received an application for improved accommodation at Ballyferriter national school, Dingle, County Kerry. In view of the very large number of school building projects being dealt with by my Department at present and the priority to be afforded to such projects, it is not possible at this point to provide a time-scale as to when improved accommodation will be provided at Ballyferriter national school.
