The information requested by the Deputy is contained in a statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report. The information supplied is based on the results of censuses of population carried out since 1981. This refers to the number of persons engaged in horticulture. The 1996 figure is 4,095. The figure in 1981 was 2,665. That is the most recent figure available to me.
