Vol. 541 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Michael Ring

Question:

436 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo, will be called for by-pass surgery in the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Eccles Street, Dublin 7; and if this person is on the waiting list. [21142/01]

The provision of health services to the person referred to by the Deputy is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. Accordingly my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
