1093 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will sanction plans for the refurbishment and extension of a school (details supplied) in Dublin 8 to go for tender stage; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21746/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

Architectural planning for work at the school referred to by the Deputy is under way at present. It is not possible at this point to say when construction will commence. The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
