Written Answers. - Residency Status.

Dick Spring

Question:

413 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when a residency status will be granted to persons (details supplied) in County Kerry. [22898/01]

The persons in question applied for permission to remain on the basis of their parentage of an Irish citizen child who was born in July 2001. Applications of this nature are dealt with in chronological order and on this basis it is likely to be several months before the application is processed.
