Vol. 541 No. 4

Written Answers. - Special Educational Needs.

Michael Creed

Question:

476 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science the additional resources he will make available to a school (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will provide the necessary level of service for those children with special needs. [22877/01]

I am aware of the issue raised by the Deputy. My Department's inspectorate is currently investigating an application from the school in question for an additional special needs assistant. Once the inspectorate has reported, my officials will be in contact with the school authorities in relation to this matter.
