124 Mr. Bell asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the proposals she is considering in order to regulate the activities of lobbyists; when she expects to con clude her consideration and bring forward proposals; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The issue of regulating the activities of lobbyists, including the proposals of the Labour Party, has been considered by the Cabinet which decided that the matter should be submitted to the appropriate Oireachtas committee. The necessary arrangements for referral are now being put in place based on a paper identifying a range of issues drawn up following interdepartmental discussions.
