497 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if he is carrying out a review of education centres; if so, when this review will be completed; and if the review will take into account specifically the additional demands on part-time education centres. [23700/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods)

A formal review of education centres commenced in July 2001 and is due to be completed early in 2002. The terms of reference of the review specifically provide for consideration of the position of part-time centres.
