512 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the steps he will take to provide transport for a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath direct from her home to the school she is attending; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23898/01]

The issue raised by the Deputy is currently being investigated by my Department. My officials will be in contact with the child's parents shortly in relation to this matter.
