Question:166 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will investigate works (details supplied) carried out in County Cork with a view to ensuring that these works are completed properly. [23878/01]
Written Answers. - Investigation of Works.
The Department allocated funding of £80,000 to Cork County Council for an extension and improvement works at the location in question. According to Cork County Council these works were carried out recently and are substantially complete. The consulting engineers for the project are meeting the local fishermen with a view to explaining the position and addressing their concerns.
