The table hereunder gives details of perjury cases recorded, detected and proceedings commenced for the years 1994 to 1999 as published in An Garda Síochána annual reports. Details of perjury offences were first published in 1994 and statistics for previous years are not available. Statistics for 1999 are for nine months only, January to September inclusive. Statistics for the year 2000 have not been published and are not yet available.
