Question:

306 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will report on the delay in receipt of orthodontic treatment by a person (details supplied) in County Dublin. [25033/01]

As the provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in County Dublin is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Regional Health Authority, I have asked the chief executive officer of that authority to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.

307 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Donegal will be called for orthodontic treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25034/01]

As the provision of orthodontic services to eligible persons in County Donegal is the statutory responsibility of the North Western Health Board, I have asked the chief executive officer of that board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
