Vol. 542 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Tony Gregory

Question:

332 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Health and Children if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the waiting time for persons (details supplied) in Dublin 3 seeking appointments in the Mater Hospital, Dublin 7, for eye cataracts complaints extends into 2003; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25236/01]

Responsibility for the funding of services at the Mater Hospital rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.

Question No. 333 answered with Question No. 277.
