Vol. 542 No. 5

Written Answers. - Occupational Therapy Services.

John McGuinness

Question:

334 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure that the occupational therapist's report in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny will be made available to Kilkenny County Council to enable works in the applicant's home to proceed; and the reason for the delay in progressing this case. [25238/01]

As the provision of occupational therapy services for eligible persons in County Kilkenny is the statutory responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board, I have asked the chief executive officer of that board to investigate the position in relation to these three cases and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
