Vol. 542 No. 5

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Offices.

Dick Roche

Question:

384 Mr. Roche asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs if his attention has been drawn to the inadequacy of the present accommodation of the social welfare offices in Bray, County Wicklow; if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that a new custom built office has been promised for Bray for more than a decade; the plans for the provision of these new premises; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25263/01]

The position is as set out in my reply to the Deputy's Question No. 425 of 12 June 2001 on this matter. However, I can confirm that the plans have now been made available by the developer and are being considered by my Department.
