451 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education and Science when work on the construction of the academic staff office and canteen facilities will commence at the north campus at the Institute of Technology, Tralee, County Kerry. [25000/01]
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department approved the tender for the provision of a canteen facility at Tralee Institute of Technology in July 2001. The contract for this project was placed in August and work is to be completed in November 2001. My Department has recently approved funding for academic staff offices in Dromthacker and construction is due to commence in December 2001.
