463 Miss Fox asked the Minister for Education and Science if his attention has been drawn to the fact that Carysfort National School, Arklow, County Wicklow, has lost its teaching principal and that both fifth and sixth classes had to be sent home on 16 October 2001 as a result; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25149/01]

The board of management of Carysfort National School is in consultation with officials of my Department with a view to finding a solution to the staffing difficulties being experienced in the school.
