Question:

165 Mr. Crawford asked the Taoiseach the tonnage of poultry meat imported from EU and non-EU countries in each of the past six months; the tonnage which was imported from those markets in each of the past six years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [24899/01]

The Taoiseach

The information requested by the Deputy is given in Tables 1 and 2. Table 1 gives monthly details for January to June 2001, inclusive. Table 2 gives details for the years 1995 to 2000, inclusive. The values corresponding to Tables 1 and 2 are presented in Tables 3 and 4 and may be useful for comparative purposes.
