Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Dukes – the detailed provisions for the resumption of beef exports to Egypt; (2) Deputy Healy – the need for increased manpower for Garda community policing schemes; (3) Deputy Deenihan – the need to admit a person (details supplied) to Cork University Hospital; (4) Deputy Fitzgerald – the Government response to the report on a case (details supplied) by Mr. Justice Peter Kelly and the action that has been taken; (5) Deputies McGrath and Penrose – the mainstreaming of services provided by community employment services to Departments; (6) Deputy Hayes – funding for the Tallaght Travellers Youth Service literacy project; (7) Deputy Brendan Smith – the need to retain the freight railway service from Navan to Kingscourt; (8) Deputy Johnny Brady – the need to retain the freight railway service from Navan to Kingscourt; (9) Deputy Timmins – the implementation of the strategic planning guidelines for the greater Dublin area; (10) Deputy Coveney – recognising the confidential nature of contractual arrangements between the Government and the Criminal Assets Bureau's legal adviser, to discuss the importance for the Criminal Assets Bureau of ensuring that its chief legal officer continues as part of the Criminal Assets Bureau structure to ensure that it remains an effective body in dismantling organised crime in Ireland; (11) Deputy Tom Hayes – the need for the Minister for Education and Science to appoint a third teacher to Lisnamrock National School, County Tipperary.

The matters raised by Deputies McGrath, Penrose, Brendan Smith, Johnny Brady, Deenihan and Timmins have been selected for discussion.
