Vol. 543 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Willie Penrose

Question:

123 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps he will take to have a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath immediately admitted to the Mater Hospital, Dublin, for an angioplasty; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27137/01]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Westmeath rests with the Midland Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
