187 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will take steps to expedite an application for registration by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [27132/01]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application under section 49, that is, acquisition of title by virtue of long possession, of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, which was lodged on 3 November 2000. Dealing No. D2000XS011106B refers. I am further informed that this registration was completed on 23 October 2001.
