Written Answers. - Work Permits.
Work permits issued in respect of the two individuals concerned in August 2000 for a one year period. Subsequent applications were made on behalf of these individuals by a different employer in March 2001. These applications were refused and subsequently appealed. It has been necessary to make inquires of officials with the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform in relation to these applications and a decision on the appeal is expected within the next week.
