Question:76 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the contact and involvement his Department has with Údarás na Gaeltachta in relation to the development of the site of the former Coillte owned sawmills at Cong, County Mayo; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the specific commitments given publicly in October 1999 have not been honoured in full; if he will co-ordinate arrangements for transfer of the site ownership and to implement proposals for the creation of jobs as an alternative to those lost resultant from the Coillte closure; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
