The 2001 area aid application for the person named has been fully processed and payment due under the 2001 area-based compensatory allowance scheme will issue shortly.

Question:100 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason an area-based payment has not been received by a person (details supplied) in County Mayo. [27218/01]
As stated in my reply to Parliamentary Question No. 116 of 18 October 2001, the person named furnished an incomplete 2001 area aid application in that he did not include maps for two new parcels of land on which he is claiming area aid. The herdowner has been contacted in order to clarify the precise location of these particular parcels of land and a response is awaited. No payment under the 2001 area-based compensatory allowance scheme will issue to the person named until the matter is resolved.
