Written Answers. - Hospital Doctors.

Bernard Allen

Question:

96 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will investigate the suggestion by a person (details supplied) that the Medical Council should be able to identify hospitals which it has inspected and on which it has placed conditions for temporary registration for non-consultant hospital doctors. [27363/01]

The inspection of hospitals for training purposes is a matter for the Medical Council in the first instance. Any issues arising in this regard may be communicated to my Department by the Medical Council.
