Vol. 543 No. 5

Written Answers. - Flood Relief.

Liam Lawlor

Question:

357 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if the technical examination of proposals from South Dublin County Council for the alleviation of flooding in Lucan has been completed by his Department's engineering inspectorate; if the proposals will be subject to amendment, or proceed as planned; and if an indicative date has been set for the commencement of the works. [27465/01]

Contract documents for the scheme have been technically approved by my Department subject to some minor amendments. A certificate of completion of planning has been requested from South Dublin County Council to enable the project to advance to tender stage.
