217 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Defence the reason for the delay in finalising the sale of a house (details supplied) in Dublin 7; if the matter will be expedited; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28977/01]

Minister for Defence (Mr. M. Smith):

The sale in question is the subject of ongoing negotiations between the Chief State Solicitor and the purchaser's legal representatives. The Chief State Solicitor is being requested to expedite the matter.
