Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Tom Hayes – when approval will be given for the provision of two additional classrooms for Ballyclerihan National School in County Tipperary; (2) Deputy Perry – the announcement of the national ban on coal and PET coke resulting in fuel shortages, higher prices and hardship to consumers; (3) Deputy Keaveney – the further 65 job losses at the Fruit of the Loom company in County Donegal and the plans for job creation and consolidation in the affected area; (4) Deputy Creed – the need to expedite the provision of a new school for Macroom National School, County Cork; (5) Deputy Shatter – the shortage of staff in the State Laboratories and the implications for the administration of justice; (6) Deputy Ring – the need to sanction funding for renovations and development of Ardagh National School, Crossmolina, County Mayo.

The matters raised by Deputies Keaveney, Hayes, Ring and Shatter have been selected for discussion.
