314 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 will be entitled to a breast prosthesis under the general medical card scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28698/01]
The provision of dressings and certain aids and appliances to medical card holders is a matter for the relevant health board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the Northern Area Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
