332 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Health and Children the numbers attending Dublin casualty departments as a result of assault in each of the years from 1998 and to date in 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28891/01]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department. Therefore, my Department has asked the regional chief executive of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to compile the information requested and to forward it to the Deputy directly.
