Paul McGrath

Question:

358 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the amount of grant aid paid to each local authority from the local government fund in each of the past two years; and the increases confirmed for 2002 for each authority. [28537/01]

362 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will allocate a similar percentage increase in the local government fund to Kerry County Council in 2002 as allocated in 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28571/01]

It is presumed that the questions refer to the general purpose allocations from the local government fund. These allocations for 2001 and for the previous two years are set out in the following table. I will be notifying authorities of their general purpose allocations for 2002 shortly.
