476 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation regarding the National Council for Curriculum Assessment's review of the exploring masculinities programme; the timeframe for this review; and the range of views being canvassed by the NCCA in this regard. [28820/01]
The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, NCCA, is currently carrying out a review of the exploring masculinities programme. I understand the council expects to consider a report arising from the review at its meeting in February 2002, and I expect to receive a copy of the report following that meeting.
The range of views considered during the course of the review has included the opinions of all those who made submissions to the NCCA and those who wrote to the NCCA, and the views of teachers and schools involved in the development of the programme.
