122 Mr. Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny) asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she supports reforming the PRSI system as a measure to boost enterprise and commerce; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [28619/01]

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Ms Harney):

Reform of the PRSI system is a matter for the Minister for Finance who, in consultation with myself and other Cabinet colleagues, will consider this issue in the context of the forthcoming budget.
