188 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of patients who stayed overnight in each of the hospitals in the Midland Health Board area on the nights of 31 October 1990 and 1 November 1990; the number of patients who stayed overnight in each of the hospitals in the Midland Health Board area on the nights of 31 October 2001 and 1 November 2001; the number of out-patients treated at each of the general hospitals in the Midland Health Board area on 1 November 1990; and the number of out-patients treated at each of the general hospitals in the Midland Health Board area on 1 November 2001. The information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collected by my Department. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the Midland Health Board to compile the figures for the hospitals in the Midland region and to forward them directly to the Deputy.
