Written Answers. - Garda Strength.

Ulick Burke

Question:

142 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gardaí in the east Galway, Roscommon and Galway west divisions in each of the years 1995, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001; and the Garda numbers stationed at stations (details supplied) for the same years; if he has satisfied himself that these numbers are adequate in view of the crime statistics reported and unreported; and his plans to provide additional manpower and resources to the towns. [30137/01]
