Vol. 545 No. 2

Written Answers. - Consumer Affairs.

John Perry

Question:

66 Mr. Perry asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the reason a person (details supplied) in County Sligo has not received a reply to his letter submitted to the Director of Consumer Affairs; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [30084/01]

The matter raised by the Deputy relates to the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Director of Consumer Affairs. The director is an independent statutory officeholder.

From my inquiries, I understand this matter has been followed up by the office of the director in the past few months and that a reply to the inquirer will issue shortly.
