102 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if he expects receipts in respect of motor taxation, vehicle registration tax, excise and or other duties to increase in 2002; and if so, the increase expected; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30190/01]

Details of the forecasts for 2002 tax receipts will be available shortly for budget day, 5 December. The forecasting and collection of motor taxation is a matter for the Minister for the Environment and Local Government.
