Vol. 545 No. 3

Written Answers. - Ambulance Service.

Seán Ryan

Question:

115 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Dublin is not entitled to a taxi or ambulance service from Balbriggan to the Eye and Ear Hospital for appointments; and if he will review the situation. [30254/01]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Dublin rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply directly to him.
