Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

134 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the level of funding which was made available to Kerry County Council in 2000, 2001 and 2002 for non-national roads in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30348/01]

Kerry County Council's non-national road grant payment for 2000 was £11,487,288 (14,585,846) and the grant allocation to the Council for 2001 was £12,240,000 (15,541,594), an increase of 7% on the payment figure for 2000 or 57% on the payment figure for 1997. I will announce details of 2002 non-national grant allocations early next year.
