Question:154 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if his Department is inviting applications for grant aid under the lottery funded recreational amenity grant scheme. [30238/01]
Written Answers. - Lottery Funding.
The 2002 sports capital programme, funded by the national lottery, was publicly advertised in newspapers on Sunday and Monday last, 25 and 26 November. I am now inviting applications in accordance with the guidelines, terms and conditions of the programme. The deadline for receipt of completed applications under the programme is 5 p.m. on Friday, 4 January 2002.
I have arranged for a copy of the application form and the guidelines, terms and conditions of the 2002 sports capital programme to be forwarded to the Deputy. Application forms and a copy of the guidelines, terms and conditions governing the programme are also available on the Department's web-site, www.gov.ie/tourism-sport.
