Vol. 545 No. 3

Written Answers. - Disadvantaged Status.

Cecilia Keaveney

Question:

181 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education and Science the position regarding an application by a school (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30395/01]

In the current school year 211 second level schools have disadvantaged status. There are no plans at present in my Department to designate further second level schools as disadvantaged. However, I assure the Deputy that the position of the school referred to by her will receive full consideration in the context of any future review of the disadvantaged scheme.
