82 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a suckler cow grant payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [30284/01]
The person named applied on 83 cows and 20 heifers under the 2001 suckler cow premium scheme. Following inspections carried out on his herd on 21 August 2001 and 25 October 2001, a number of queries were raised by my Department's inspecting officers with the person named. The person named responded to these queries by letter of 2 November 2001 and my Department will inform him shortly regarding the decision in the case.
